program overview
Club volleyball is a USA Volleyball sanctioned league for athletes who wish to compete against the best local and national volleyball talent. The club age divisions are from 11 & Under through 18 & Under (click here for 2020-2021 club season age classifications). All club teams require a tryout each season, therefore it's a selective sport. Players are chosen based on skill level, athletic ability, potential, attitude and team commitment.
The San Antonio Xtreme Volleyball Club (SA Xtreme) is an elite junior volleyball club sanctioned though the Lone Star Region and USAV. We are based in San Antonio, Texas, having players from all throughout the Central Texas region.
Each SA Xtreme team is generally composed of 8-11 athletes. Our teams practice 2-3 times per week at Limitless Sports Academy during the club volleyball season (2 times per week when a tournament is on that same weekend). We also encourage all SA Xtreme players to seek additional position-specific training and participate in any off-season volleyball leagues. All of our teams compete locally in the Lone Star Region. Our National teams travel to several major tournaments every club season including showcases and National Qualifiers throughout the country.
